Crabby in May

The latest task in Lilla Rogers' Bootcamp was to create some crusty crustaceans with patterns to decorate plates for a homewards assignment.

Once again I enjoyed creating a hand-carved stamp. It's ok to be a bit crabby sometimes!

I did a quick mockup of a crabby plate, but...

the real joy for me came after the assignment was done. I took my crabby crab and made an underwater pattern, with a placement graphic and coordinates to accompany.

I've recently learned how to do technical repeats (as in, it will repeat seamlessly across a large area) - so I've been having fun putting these on products in my RedBubble shop that require that, such as...

A tote bag for the beach? or this juicy skirt?

As you can see, I'm having lots of fun!
